Eventbrite - TKG Enrollment Open House 2015

Our vision is to cultivate a community environment where children will learn to learn, love and see the world through the eyes of innovators and catalysts.  Our learning plans happen through interaction with nature, hands-on experience and playfulness.

Our upcoming OPEN HOUSE are designed to give parents detailed information about how learning happens at TKG.  You will hear about:

  • Constructivism & Cooperative Learning – Where interactive curriculum is presented whole to part and student questions are highly valued.  Students work mostly in groups in mixed age classrooms.
  • Brain Science & Development – By understanding the way we experience and connect, we can help students know themselves, develop mindfulness and learn how to be their best.
  • Whole Child & Family – Active participation is an essential component to the experience at TKG.  In order to keep the mind, bodies and hearts of our students and families connected and safe, families are actively involved in meetings, celebrations and problem solving.
  • Capacity Building – Real-life experiences and lessons are seen as opportunities for students, who are seen as thinkers in control of their learning, to solve their own problems as well as those of their concentric communities.
