Mindfulness is a practice; and even though you don’t always see it, the experience will ripple forever. We all need a little pause now and then and so, we invite you to nurture mindfulness with us and your family – at home.

Excerpt from “Planting Seeds” by Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village Community
More Glitter or food coloring and possibly some clear dish soap
sharpies, paints, stickers to decorate your jar with mindful intentions
HOW TO – Make a mindful jar at home
Step 1: Add all the glitter glue (1-2 oz) to the jar or (6-8 oz) water bottle.
Step 2: Fill with warm water and mix/shake to get the glue distributed evenly.
Step 3: Add more glitter or food coloring if you’d like!
Step 4: Add your mindful intentions with your name or decorate your jar/bottle if you’d like.
You can also do this with clear glue and add a drop of food coloring and shake or two of glitter. If the glitter doesn’t settle so easily, dilute with a little more water.
“You cannot transmit wisdom and insight to another person. The seed is already there. A good teacher touches the seed, allowing it to wake up, to sprout, and to grow.” -Thich Nhat Hanh
