Dear Community,
The Knowing Garden is open. THE KNOWING GARDEN IS OPEN! We are now getting settled into our new spot at St. Andrew’s Church on PCH. Michelle Goldbach-Johnson, a South Bay local, is our teacher. She is a compassionate, empathetic person who is filled with enthusiasm and commitment to our students and our mission.
Our first week was beautiful. We explored, learned, felt, and planted. 
This week, we continue our journey at our new location with the wonderful support of our family, students, and support network. Thank you for your observations and dedication.
On October 17th, we will host “Things That Come Up At School.” A communication workshop facilitated by our advisor, Melody Elder M.A. E.d. of Awakened Heart Parenting. Our topics will include:
- Homework: No matter what your child’s learning environment looks like, directing attention to homework and/or lessons will most likely come up. Supportive strategies to help you and your child(ren) navigate challenges concerning homework. Private, public and Home schoolers will appreciate this information!
- Educational Advocacy: Working in cooperation with teachers, administrators and caregivers while advocating for your child.
